We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative to help identify, qualify and convert leads through outbound prospecting and nurturing inbound inquiries. In this role, you will vet sales opportunities based on lead qualification criteria and schedule customer meetings and demonstrations for DataChat Account Executives. The Business Development Representative is a key member of the DataChat sales organization.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new qualified leads through outbound calling and emails
  • Repeatable method for following up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Research and qualify prospects, identify key personas and increase and augment the database of prospects
  • Connect with prospects, qualify them and schedule meetings and product demos for the Account Executives
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.com including comprehensive up-to-date client information and record of interactions
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using Salesforce.com and Sales Engagement Platforms
  • Exceeding key performance indicators including outbound activity, number of appointments set, monthly and quarterly opportunities generated, etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to source prospects, improve our outbound efforts and achieve organizational goals


Skill and Qualifications:

  • Great communication (verbal and written) and organization skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Delivers compelling presentations
  • Self-starter who thrives working independently and being a collaborative team player
  • Strive to continuously improve best practices and demonstrate a willingness to learn through coaching and mentoring
  • Motivation to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of urgency to meet and exceed aggressive weekly, monthly and quarterly goals
  • Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for clients
